One of drag’s most outrageous and beloved queens, Alaska has been gracing stages since 2007. Her experimental, unpredictable performances ultimately led to her appearance on season five of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” where she earned the title of runner-up. She returned to the Werk Room in season two of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” in 2016 and was crowned reigning queen.

Beyond the world of reality television, Alaska has built an impressive career across stage and screen. She’s released four studio albums and appeared in numerous theatrical, film, television, and digital productions. This fall, she will join the U.S. national tour of “Oh, Mary!” in the role of Mary Todd Lincoln.

If history is any indication, Alaska will continue surprising us. She’ll keep reinventing the rules of drag, pushing it to stranger, smarter, and more spectacular heights.
