ORIANTHI

Australian-born guitarist and singer Orianthi Panagaris, simply known as Orianthi, is a powerhouse performer with a sound inspired by hard rock and blues. Born in Adelaide in 1985, she fell in love with the electric guitar at just 6 years old and began playing in bands as a teenager. As a studio player, her talent caught the ear of Carlos Santana, and soon she was a rising star.  

In 2006, Orianthi released her debut album, “Violet Journey.” This album won her a record deal. She continued relentlessly working—playing as a session musician, touring, and writing her sophomore album. She played at the 2009 Grammy® Awards and was chosen to perform in Michael Jackson’s planned This Is It tour, later appearing in the movie of the same name after his passing. That same year, her album Believe introduced her to a much wider audience, thanks to her international hit “According to You,” and helped establish her both as a talented songwriter and standout guitarist.  

Since then, Orianthi has continued to release new music and collaborate with legendary artists. Through it all, she has stayed true to what she loves most: delivering energetic rock, and paying tribute to her first love, the guitar.
