Marquis Hill Blacktet doesn’t fit neatly into one genre. Led by internationally acclaimed trumpeter and composer Marquis Hill, the group moves easily across jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul to create a sound that feels both grounded and new.

Hill’s music is rich with style and imagination, balancing deep musicality with a strong point of view to create a performance that feels vibrant and made for the room. Catch Marquis Hill Blacktet at Holland Music Club for a night of adventurous music with serious soul.
