Frequently Asked Questions
What is CLUE: A Walking Mystery?
It's the beloved board game brought to life, and it's coming to Omaha! You and your group will step into the shoes of iconic CLUE characters to solve the mystery of who murdered the elusive Mr. Boddy. Your investigation begins at the Holland Performing Arts Center and unfolds across nine stops within the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement. You'll hunt for clues, meet characters, and piece together the case: WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT.
Where does the experience take place?
Your investigation begins at the Holland Performing Arts Center, where pieces from the legendary mansion are on display. From there, the clues will guide you through the building and into the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement.
How long does the experience take?
Plan for about 90 minutes. Unlike escape rooms, there's no countdown clock, so take your time, soak it in, and don't rush past the photo ops.
What's the group size?
Investigative duos to teams of 10+ are all welcome. Groups are staggered in 30-minute intervals with up to four groups starting per half hour, so you'll have plenty of space to work the case at your own pace.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for every person in my group?
Yes! Since this is a fully participatory experience, everyone present needs a ticket. We recommend CLUE: A Walking Mystery for junior detectives ages eight and up.
Is there walking involved?
The experience moves through Holland Performing Arts Center and the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement, so some walking is involved, but it flows more like a museum exhibition than a race. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your best detective instincts.
What if we get stuck on a clue?
No shame in calling for backup. QR codes are available at each stop to unlock hints and keep your investigation moving.
Should we wear costumes?
Costumes are encouraged but not required. If you've always wanted to show up as Miss Scarlett or Colonel Mustard, this is your moment.
How do we find out who did it, with what, and where?
The game concludes with all the suspects gathering with the butler to deduce the answer together. No spoilers, you'll have to solve it to find out.
What if I purchased tickets for the wrong time?
Even the best detectives make mistakes. Contact Ticket Omaha to make any necessary changes to your reservation.
What if I arrive late?
Check in as usual and you'll be added to the next available case.
Are tickets refundable?
All sales are final. Please reach out to Ticket Omaha with any questions.
