KODALY: Dances of Galanta
TCHAIKOVSKY: Souvenir d'un Lieu Cher for Violin and Orchestra
DVOŘÁK: Romance for Violin and Orchestra
DEBUSSY: Petite Suite
MOZART: Symphony No. 38 (Prague)

Principal Guest Conductor and Artistic Advisor JoAnn Falletta closes the Symphony Joslyn series with a charming spring concert featuring Concertmaster Susanna Perry Gilmore. Kodaly’s spontaneous Dances of Galanta is a perfect way to start the celebration before Dvořák and Tchaikovsky’s gorgeous additions to the violin repertoire. We finish with Mozart’s Symphony No. 38, “Prague,” a joyful, bewitching romp in honor of one of his favorite cities.

For the respect and consideration of all Omaha Symphony patrons, children under 5 years of age are prohibited from attending this performance.
