On the eve of his wedding to the lovely Susanna, Figaro must outwit his master, Count Almaviva, who has amorous designs on the bride-to-be. Based on the play by Beaumarchais, this satire of the aristocracy brings back the characters from The Barber of Seville as they skillfully maneuver around each other to create this lively and romantic comedy.
Maureen Francis (Mabel in Opera Omaha’s 2008 The Pirates of Penzance) returns as Susanna, with Jason Hardy in the role Figaro. Kelly Markgraf and Monica Yunus are Count and Countess Almaviva.
